I haven't tried on another computer yet, I would have tried gparted on linux but, well I cant install linux without this USB and don't have another one at the moment.

Error code the same thing in safe mode and got the same results, also tried a number of combinations like cleaning in diskpart then creating in Disk Management and no luck either.
The event log says cannot zero sectors on disk \\?\PhysicalDrive2. Last I tried diskpart, ran list disk select disk 2 clean to no avail, throws DiskPart has encountered an error: Access is denied. Then I tried Disk Management utility, which says Can't find the volume because the volume is offline when I try to format, it will allow me to delete the volume and create a new simple partition but it show a warning saying it did not format the disk, then a message saying could not find the file specified and finally when I try to re format the new volume it throws the first message again. Here is where the issue starts, I cant seem to be able to clean format it.įirst I tried the format in context menu in the file explorer which said it was unable to complete format. Etcher threw an error that it couldn't flash the USB for some reason so I tried to format it to try again.
