

Sephi will be mixing AnimEDM on Saturday night’s Okashi Crossing Dance among others featured on the lineup. This AnimEDM philosophy encourages a place of friendship, musical freedom, and celebration for anime and rave fandom in hopes for providing a community for fans, known as Nightkids, seeking a realm of hope and happiness. Sephi strives to make the electronic dance community relevant for fans by formulating his AnimEDM philosophy, a style of unique sounds and sights influenced from Progressive House, Trance, Eurodance, Hard Dance, and Hardcore music with Japanese inspirations. Sephi utilizes his experiences in many of his interactions to become what he’s described as a “multi-media culture masher”, establishing the correlation between anime and electronic music. Beyond HakubiVerse, Sephi has been associated with many dance music collectives all over the world such as Neon Genesis Hardcore, JDS: Just Don’t Stop Productions, Dream Drop Productions, eQlipse, and Team Brisk. Sephi Hakubi, is a Progressive EDM and Hard Dance DJ and multi-media producer based in San Antonio, Texas who manages HakubiVerse, an otaku entertainment label that focuses on rave culture with Japanese-fandom influences, pioneering the style he calls AnimEDM. She’s also two time Arda Wigs contest winner, and is a published cosplay model in several magazines. She has won awards for cosplays such as Raven from Teen Titans, Aerith from Final Fantasy VII, Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon and is a part of the award winning cosplay group, Death by Cosplay. Miss OoLaLa can be seen in her natural habitat at various anime conventions and comic-cons in the south, bringing her latest creations to cosplay competitions. Outside of cosplay, she works as a freelance voice over artist with a background in broadcasting, and has worked as a radio host in different cities across south Louisiana. She also loves anime, Marvel, DC, Magic the Gathering, Star Wars, and is an aspiring voice over artist. Miss OoLaLa is a Louisiana cosplayer with a passion for video games, especially classic RPGs like The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, SeikenDensetsu (Mana series), the Tales series, and Chrono Trigger. In 2020, ACME headlined their first US west coast tour, with Canadian metal band Red Handed Denial. In 2019, ACME made their US live performance debut with 3 shows in the US. In 2018, CHISA made his runway debut at Anime Expo’s fashion show. The band wrapped up 2020 with officially changing their name typeset in Japanese Katakana to ACME in English letters, ready to face a steadily growing global audience.ĪCME’s popularity has risen overseas (especially in the United States) through their music and outreach to overseas fans. Since their debut, they have gained tremendous momentum from their explosive fan response, establishing them as one of the hottest newcomers in the scene. Starting with her first original work “Ajisai (hydrangea)” in 2011, she has showcased series of work including a “language of flowers” collection and a “nature” collection. Her YouTube video “Shironuri Makeup Tutorial by Minori” has been played almost 800,000 times. After appearing on the fashion snap page on in Harajuku, her art became popular on the internet, and her Instagram currently has a total of around 71,000 followers.
